After your last go on karaoke that ended up in chairs being thrown about (true story) I think you should sit down be quite and leave the singing to people who know what their doing...........I.e me ;)The Godfather wrote:Can't we get a big band/singer, to do a concert in the ground? Clubs have done it before, I seem to remember not long ago Mansfield had Westlife play at Field Mill and AFC Wimbledon have Mumford and Sons playing a fundraiser as well but only because some of the band supported the club anyway. But we've got such little time to organise it, that I'm not sure it would be possible for us.The Godfather wrote:Can't we get a big band/singer, to do a concert in the ground? It's been looked at before. The ground isn't big enough for a big name and those tribute bands are ten a penny. In fact, Cambridge United did one 5-6 years ago which was poorly attended and they lost a shed load of money. The Godfather wrote:Can't we get a big band/singer, to do a concert in the ground? Wasn't it Chico or someone though? If it was then no wonder it was poorly attended.Trek wrote:It's been looked at before.
