Lots of positives for tonight:
Great result.
2 goals without Tomlin (one man team my arse!).
A clean sheet
Up to 4th place
Only 8 points off 2nd place now
No bookings in the game for any Diamonds players
A win for the first time since August on a school night ;)
Mansfield losing
4 points clear of K*ttering
4 places above K*ttering
Corky and Big Boi with back to back goals in games for first time this season
Crowd up on the last Tuesday evening game (v Wrexham 855 home fans) by a big old 169 peeps (if at full price thats another 2k through the turnstile in income) 1024 home fans tonight - massive 20% increase in home fans on what was a much colder night, and given league position of the 2 away sides, I would have said the "lesser fan pulling power" side visiting tonight
Brilliant timing on both goals, 1st bang on half time, send em in with their heads hanging low.
2nd 5 mins after the break to completely drive the nail in the coffin and stop any presumptious ideas of clawing back into the game
The only negative I can see is:
Yet again have not finished work and got home until 8 bloody 30 and missed yet another game. :x

Excellent post!
As for negatives, as well as the obvious Luton comeback, this essay I was supposed to start has been completely neglected.

Kinda make me want to sing:

I've paid my dues
Time after time
I've done my sentence
But committed no crime
And bad mistakes
I've made a few
I've had my share of sand kicked in my face
But I've come through
We are the champions, my friends
And we'll keep on fighting - till the end
We are the champions
We are the champions
No time for losers
Cause we are the champions - of the world

Two cracking goals, Corky ran up the pitch for a free header, for the second goal, no Eastbourne player was marking him.
Eastbourne didn't have any one who stood out for me, they seemed to go down for the slightest touch, and the referee fell for it... their number 10... forget his name, was a dirty little git.
Bloody freezing, and glad to be back in the warm, with us three points better off, roll on Saturday

Obviously delighted at where we are at the moment but not getting too carried away, it was another good, hardworking performance from everyone especially Louis and Farrell (My MOM for 2 assists and his effort) but once again like the H&Y and Grays games the opposition was awful, so it will be interesting to see how we do against decent opposition as we'll need to do well in those as well to stay in the top 5.

Agreed with the comments about Eastbourne, they were shit, offered absolutely nothing attacking-wise all game. I was pleased that we managed to score from two set pieces as well because it seemed as the first half was drawing to a close like it was going to be a frustrating night with Eastbourne keeping every man behind the ball and playing for a point. Also good to see we can win without Tommo, however Saturday will be a really big test, I am starting to dream of an extra two games in May though.

Don't you mean three games ;) But yeah it would be amazing to be in the playoffs!

Not a great performance but it didn't need to be. Eastbourne came for a 0-0 draw and had no Plan B once they conceded. Benjamin looked quite lively for them in the first half although he never really troubled Corcoran and faded in the second. Apart from him, they were very poor. We will have to raise our game for the next few matches.

I thought we were pretty average last night to be honest, but we got the win and that is the main thing.
We looked like we were missing Tomlin from the start. No-one was really taking anyone on and the main chances were coming from balls over the top. I thought Porter looked out of sorts but other than that everyone played well enough to get the job done.
Great to see us in 4th place, but realistically we will need to play better than that if we want to take more than about 3 points from the next 4.
