So the UCL could in theory go for 1 less than at present in the Premier Division.
I think the bigger impact to the UCL of that document may be the statement that step 5 clubs will be demoted to step 6 if they don't have full Category F ground grading by the end of March. I can think of a few that will have to spend significant money to meet those requirements - and obviously any club looking for promotion would have to meet them too - e.g. the floodlighting requirement, entrance requirement or the public address requirement could be a challenge.

Would Oadby's ground meet Category F requirements? As I posted elsewhere I was expecting a better facility.

Those three areas I picked out above might need some work.

What about that stand? Seemed very basic and scruffy with those ex Filbert Street plastic seats. No proper cover for standing fans either. I was very disappointed and had expected better. Car parking at one end seemed to be used to park commercial vehicles and that that was locked when I arrived so I parked in the Leisure Centre car park which was a better and safer option.

The comment about it being a safer option is particularly appropriate, given we saw someone attempt to park straddling the glowing embers of a burning bonfire at that far end - luckily one of our fans came to the rescue before anything untoward happened!

Interesting article from 18 months ago.

Seems Jeff Stocking joined on the playing management side before being 'elevated' to the General Manager's role.
