Saw him play for Sheffield United against Spurs at White Hart Lane in 1962 when he was up against burly Spurs centre forward Bobby Smith and Jimmy Greaves. Despite his relatively short height he was an excellent and brave keeper, a one club man as well, and 5 full caps for England which meant something in those days when you had to be well regarded to get selected.

Don't know if he counts as a former player but Jason Kilbride broke his leg yesterday playing for Deeping Rangers.

Jake Reynolds moved from R&H to Irchester on Friday evening. He made a decent debut as a first half sub against Bugbrooke on Saturday
