Are not expecting any trouble but will be out in numbers with CCTV monitoring us and sending us Bluetooth messages.

"We are anticipating in excess of 1,000 supporters from Luton but there is no suggestion that any disorder will take place.
1000..try 3000 (i know he says in excess....but that's quite the excess)

I doubt there will be trouble, i'll be meeting with a few mates from uni for a pint and they're all Luton fans....

a little O/T where do away fans drink in Rushden?...I believe it's the bull isn't it? Me mates were asking.

Correct. Would make sense for the club to get some beer in the North Stand and the Airwair bars to maximise profits.

The Crows Nest is on Crow Hill, on the right hand side of the A6 as you climb the slope from Nene Park towards Finedon, and is not in the major part of Irthlingborough. I'm sure the pub will appreciate the custom as it's a bit isolated.
Other village pubs to consider on the same road - The Bell, Little Addington / Hare and Hounds, Great Addington / Dukes Arms and Prince of Wales, in Woodford. All would welcome travelling fans and gain from the extra income.
Would be a great example of a community club helping the local economy... indirectly ;)

Of course there's always the option of drinking in the main part of Irthlingborough:-

The Horseshoe Inn
The Oliver Twist
The British Arms
The Working Men's Club
The Band Club
The Conservative Club

More than enough drinking holes 8-)
