To do list

Post by Harry »

...for the new pre-season.

- Justin has expressed that he wishes to remain at the club, let's make this official.
- Offer new contracts to key players who are out of contract. Tommo, Osano etc. I'm not sure what the full list of out of contract players is.
- Approach Forest regarding Byrne (Is he out of contract there?)
- Release a centre midfielder. The amount we have at the moment is probably too much of a luxury.
- Release Cousins once he has recovered from his injury and is back on his feet.
- Bye bye to Akurang and J-Lo.
- Sign a new defender. We have a solid defence but could do with back up (presuming Huke leaves).
- Find an out and out goalscorer. I realise this is easier said than done!

Any more to add?
Any you disagree with?

(By the way, this is not meant to sound like I am being impatient and want these things done asap. It is more a list of things I'd like to happen over a period of a few months!)

Yeah I'd probably agree with that, someone with less of an attitude, less ability but a harder worker and more consistant would be better. Who would take him off us now though?

Agreed. Justin referred to "passengers" in his post match interview. I think he had Tomlin in mind.

- Sign JEMS.
- Keep majority of players who are out of contract.
- WE MUST GET BYRNE!!! though rumour has it we're not alone in wanted to secure his services.
- Sell Tomlin, his heart isn't in it IMO.
- Use money from Tommo to bring in a CF who can get 20+ goals, if we'd had Constable/Brodie/Tubbs (realistic for next season IMO)/Walker we'd have won the league this year, FACT!
- Get rid of that bloody awful kit we played in today! ;)

We'll do well to sucure the services of Byrne. As much as he proberbly would want to make his move permanent, clubs in the football league must be taking a look at him and may find it hard to reject any bigger offers!

No other club has such a strong, brilliant Irish supporting contingent though ;)
