Very proud...

Post by Diamond_ Wolf »

I know the whole discussion with Luton 'fans' yesterday is starting the wear a bit thin and ultimately all we can hope is that the FA and BSP hand out the derserved punishment.

Anyway on the flip side Oxford fans have commented on us http://www.rageonline.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3111

Makes me proud to be a Rushden fan :)

Indeed, I thought the atmosphere in our end was fantastic.

A Brighton fan has just posted this on their forum:

Rushden & Diamonds have something that Luton will never have. CLASS.

Lovely new stadium that has a beer concourse with law-abiding supporters. I really wanted them to get back into the football league. Hopefully next season.

It's well out of date since they don't sell beer in the Air Wair anymore. ;)

Is nice to know that not all Oxford fans are bad.

Just a shame some had to try and ruin it at the end of the game on Monday, by taunting our fans.

To be fair it was only a handful of chavvy kids, the majority were fine and went over to the goal at the other end.

Bearing in mind how close the ground is to the infamous Blackbird Leys estate I thought on the whole they weren't too bad apart from one or two knobs who wanted to taunt us rather than watching the footy.
