Goal of the season?
Re: Goal of the season?
Agree with the comments about Tomlin's goal vs Kiddy! Few other shout outs to James Reid's goal at Barrow, Craig Farrell's v Gateshead, Mark Byrne's at Luton, P*** T****'s at Salisbury and O'Connor's at Mansfield.

Farrell vs Gateshead is a good shout. Was sitting directly in line with it and it was a peach.

Re: Goal of the season?
I loved Pattisons against Grays! Great passing move down the left, culminating in a 50yard crossfield ball by tomlin - fantastic cut in and left foot finish straight in the top corner
Re: Goal of the season?
Tomlin's v Kiddy was one of those that had it been scored by Rooney or Torres would of been hailed as the goal of the season but as it was scored by a lowly non league player no one gets to see it. Maybe we should suggest to Sky Sports to get clubs to send in their best goal of the season and get them to do a poll on what was truely "the best goal of the season". Maybe Soccer AM would oblige - sounds like their sort of thing

Absolutely agree - world class. Shame Fabio wasn't at the game... ;)Basil wrote:Tomlin's v Kiddy was one of those that had it been scored by Rooney or Torres would of been hailed as the goal of the season but as it was scored by a lowly non league player no one gets to see it. As good as Tomlin's goal was against Kiddy, for anyone who was there, his goal against Hayes & Yeading was simply insane.
Also worthy of a mention, O'Connor VS Ebbslfeet, Porter VS Kiddy, and Wolleaston VS Stevenage.

As I didn't see Tommo v Kiddy (only home game I missed, brilliant :( ), i'll have to go for Wolleaston v Stevenage or Pattison v Grays.
One Dale Roberts. Never forgotten. R.I.P.

Tommo v Kiddy for me and to add another James Reid scored a decent right footed drive, from the edge of the area after cutting in from the left, against Grays

Matt Pattisons goal was a cracker, I just can't remember who it was against.
You're knocked out with who I am,
Look at you now, you're all in my hands.
