Formation Next Year
Formation Next Year
I know it's still very early but I'm bored and it's fun to speculate.
Do you think/want Justin will/to stick with the 4-3-3 formation next year?
Considering we've released a couple of centre midfielders, and Justin has stated he is after a winger, I wouldn't be surprised to see us go back to the traditional 4-4-2.

I think we'll see more variety this year. Gotta keep then 4-3-3 after the success we gained from it in the second half of this season, but then there are other times when a 4-4-2 may have benefitted us more when we needed to defend or keep possession e.g. Stevenage home, Crawley home, Oxford away (x2)
All in my opinion of course.

4-4-2 at home
4-5-1/4-3-3 away.
If we can perfect either that will be great because Oxford did a job on us and worked out how to stop us with our formation we played last year. If we can alternate between two, it will be fantastic, and very hard to stop us!

Well Pattison has gone and he was our one real winger so unless JE signs some wide players, I think 4-3-3 will be the pattern. It has been successful and I will be there next season, ;) ;) but it's not proper football to me... ;)
