Did well at Kings Lynn - will always be remembered for the scrappiest Rushden goal ever at Leeds :) At the age of 5, it's one of my first memories ;)

He should feel right at home at Histon then!

suprised at his succsess in management
when he played for us he came across as one of the most stupid players around

still fair play to him. will always go down in history for being the player to finally poke the ball away at elland road.

I remember most people were very excited at the signing of Heggs and he looked very promising at first, but he went down from there after mainly playing on the left wing

The main man we wanted was Warburton, i think they just threw Heggs in for a bit more money. All skills and no end product, but at Swansea and Cobblers he was very good.

He did indeed. A 3-1 win over Morecambe, and he scored the third with a tap in from about 6 yards out. I think he may have also won the penalty which John Hamsher converted. I forget his name now, but the player who gave away the penalty went completely ape shit at the ref and got himself sent off for dissent. After seeing the red card, he began walking off the pitch only to then turn around and start having another go at the ref! He was absolutely hilarious!

Oh, stop it!

I'm annoyed with myself that I can't remember the name of the Morecambe player who got sent off - I might have to watch the 98/99 season review video tonight to remind me! I can still vividly picture him stomping off the pitch waving his arms around like a mad man and swearing at anyone close enough to hear him!
