Beer Festival
Fish and Chips, Gullit and Van Basten, Rushden and Diamonds, Bangers and Mash, Mitchell and Webb, Kylie and Jason, Waddle and Hoddle, Rhubarb and Custard, Cameron and Clegg..... ;) All outstanding double acts, but surely none of them come close to rivalling
BEER AND FOOTBALL!!!!!

I can't wait! It's just a shame it's not open all day so we can have a proper Leo Sayer (modern Cockney Rhyming Slang for 'All Dayer')! ;)

Re: Beer Festival
I hate to be critical of something which I've always said was a brilliant idea since its inception, but surely opening at 7:30pm when England kick off at 7:30pm is a massive nono.
You want time for everyone to get through the door and buy a beer before kick-off, I would have though that 7 would be a much better opening time.

Re: Beer Festival
Just had a thought, who's up for sponsoring a barrel??
http://www.thediamondsfc.com/page/NewsD ... 29,00.html
I'll put a fiver in, 9 others and we've got ourselves a barrel of Forum Fart, £50 to the club too
What do you reckon? Anyone else up for it?

Re: Beer Festival
I'm not too keen on the name (I'm sure the brewers have already decided upon names for their beers anyway!), but I'll put in £5 as well.PigmanRDFC wrote:Just had a thought, who's up for sponsoring a barrel??
