Taken from another forum;
York are chasing AFC Wimbledon Striker Danny Kedwell. York will bid 10k for the foward but, York will have to battle with Rushden, Luton and Mansfield to get Kedwell.

No chance of competing with those teams, to be honest.
Still, you never know.

^^^ Thanks.
Football facebook? Sounds unreliable. Also looking at an article of when he signed his two year contract:

Can't see this happening, let alone a 26 goal striker on a two year contract for £10k.

would he have played under JE at grays? I'd say 10k is a fair price.. and in my opinion he is EXACTLY the type of player we need to fill our centre forward role. He's big and strong, would be brilliant for tommo, azza or farrell to feed off, plus he scores goals. if we had him last season.. we would be in league 2.

I would'nt have thought we'd have any chance of signing him especially if there was fee involved.

I agree with this!!! He is not exactly the striker we need, as we would have to pay at least 10k! I think there are strikers out there who would be available for free, who JEMS could mould into the perfect strikers. Unless there is a deal in the offing for another player (Tommo perhaps) then i can't see there being 10k for JEMS to spend, especially given what KC was saying at the fans forum about him not wanting to dip into his pocket any more.
