I assume i'm not the only one glued to the TV.
The geezer has just killed himself after shooting 11 people in the Seascale area of Cumbria.

New information coming out every minute it seems.
People who knew Derrick Bird say he was a very nice bloke and well liked. Something has kicked off at taxi rank between he (a taxi driver) and 3 other drivers. He's killed two, injured another, and then just gone on a spree. At least 5 dead and minimum 25 injured. One of the dead is his own mother.

12 killed. 13 if you include him. 25 in hospital and 3 in a critical condition.

Re: the 'tut tut' - i agree. Surely they can't broadcast something like that if the person is indeed alive.

I heard it on Radio 4. It did say that despite rumours his mother wasn't involved
