Now obviously it's just another fans' message board but this quote surely means it's us? Anyone know of any other Conference managers on holiday this week? ;)

Pretty sure Joe Keehan has played his last game for Lewes. On his way to Conference Prem as far as I know. Don't want to say too much but I for one wish him all the best. It should all come out in the next week or so, once the manager from this particular club gets back from holiday and ties up all the loose ends of the deal.
I believe it will be a very good deal for him with possible full time football.

Joe Keehan, 23 years old. Scored 17 goals in the Blue Square South last season for a struggling side. Imagine what he could do when he gets proper service.

Awful, like all the BSS/BSN/BSP players on that game :lol:

His finishing was 6, and passing 9 by memory, but I can't be bothered to spend 10 mins loading it all up again ;)

Anyway, 17 goals from Midfield in the BSS is very commendable, and the fact he scored 8 in the BSP also highlights that he can do a job for us im sure. Like-for-like for Wolleaston I suppose!

Has there actually been any link to us though? Other than a manager coming back from holiday?

I imagine many managers will be taking a holiday at this time of year.

Before you get too carried away, just remember that there's not actually ANY evidence that it's us who are trying to sign him. This RUMOUR is based on one person on the Lewes message board saying he will sign for a Conference side when their manager gets back from holiday and everyone on here jumping to the conlclusion that it must be us.

He may fit JE's description of one of the players he's trying to sign, but there are potentially hundreds who also fit the bill.
