World Cup Betting

I'm mainly on Brazil and Argentina to win it, and fancy Chile/Slovakia/Uruguay/South Korea/Serbia to do me well at bigger prices on Betfair, with a saver on Italy.

Can't be having England, France (wont qualify) or Spain, just slightly worried about leaving the Germans out.

Also like Di Natale and Gilardino of Italy to make a run at the Golden Boot.

Anyone else with any opinions?

Mine:

Spain to win.

Ivory Coast as an outsider, worth a couple of quid at 40-1.

Golden Boot Winner will be either be David Villa or Wayne Rooney!

Got Mexico @ 2.72 last night, fantastic price IMO. The SA home advantage is being overstated and as we all saw a few weeks ago Mexico are bloody good. Better than SA anyway, who are 82 in the world or something stupid like that.

I disagree completely about this one, everyone and his mum tipping up Mexico here, but SA have got their act together a little bit and lets not forget that Mexico only qualified because of their home form. Home advantage a huge factor for SA here, and I reckon a draw at best for the Mexicans in a tight and low-scoring contest.

Mexicans? More like Mexicants :)
