Only a handful of us to watch the game in Strikers tonight, where was everybody? Disappointing for the club to say the least :(

Yes - would be good to see a lot more people down there. I think it was about 25 people there (including 2 staff). Hopefully a few more will make the Beer Festival as well over next weekend.

If Strikers isn't opened some people say "Why isn't the club opening for the World Cup?" - but when it does, and has advertised that for quite some time, including ET etc.. not enough really turn up to justify it.

We even had Bruce our resident USA fan there.

[Note: these were taken after everyone left ;-)]

This might indicate that a significant proportion of our fan base doesn't actually live on the doorstep and many like me won't drive many miles to Nene Park just to watch a game of footie, on a poor quality large screen in Strikers.
