Does anyone know what time the beer festival opens today,I can't get hold of anyone at the club and the offical site says 7.30,which can not be right as that would mean it opens as the game kicks off and that would just be silly!

It better be decent beer,last time I sampled guest beers at a beer festival I ended up being sick over myself and being able to sh!t through the eye of a neadle.

I was talking to Rachel Roberts about it a few weeks ago and I think she said it would be opening at 7:00pm. She also said that the beer festival itself is being held under the Airwair NOT in Strikers, although Strikers will be open as well.

Will they have a big screen in the Airwair then? Will you have to pay to go in strikers?

Considering the club's had no electricity today and there's been no announcement to the contrary, I'd get there earlier than that in case they can't sort out a feed to the TV's. Just in case you have to go somewhere else at very short notice.

Update;- no feed to the TV's so no footy on the tellies. I'm off round the works then, oh well.

I know of atleast 10 people that was going over tonight for the game & the beer,but because the game isnt on their no longer going Diamonds,I suspect Diamonds will lose alot of custom tonight
