Bastille Day is the French national holiday which is celebrated on 14 July each year. In France, it is formally called La FĂȘte Nationale (National Celebration) and commonly le quatorze juillet (the fourteenth of July

Sung to the Tune of La Marseillaise
(Very apt this year    )

A FRENCHMAN

A Frenchman went to the lavatory,
To have a bloody good shit,
He took his coat and trousers off,
So that he could revel in it,
But when he reached for the paper,
He found that someone had been there before.
Ou est le papier,
Ou est le papier,
Monsieur, monsieur,
Je spread manure,
Ou est le papier

You'll have to post a rendition on YouTube Woody, I can't fit those words to the tune :D

Oui, tu as raison, c'est la FĂȘte National demain, et donc, un jour ferrier.

Yes you are right, it is Bastille Day tommorow, and so, a day off work ( like an English Bank Holiday ).

I don't imagine her majesty QEII is overly comfortable with her subjects celebrating July 14, but I wont be letting that stop me :D
