Positives:
Aaron O'Connor was superb, looked very sharp and took his goal excellently.
Jamie Day was very good - I'd be nervous if I was Kurt tonight.
Morgan Phillips came on for his debut at 17 and did well I thought considering it was his first match!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Negatives:
Osano looked ropey at Centre Back
Sam Smith looked lightweight and ineffective.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
New Players:
Bailey - Very Ropey, 3 Mistakes, wouldnt sign him up personally.
Day - Very Solid - our best player First Half!
Johnson - Looked half-decent, aggressive in the tackle!
Keehan - Had a poor 30 mins - pass completion was probably 50% tops!
Yoffe - Looks technically good but didn't look interested in the physical side of the game - don't think he's one for Barrow away in January ;)
Charles - Wasn't really in the game - had a few nice touches.
Spence - Great corners, looked busy reminded me of Wolleaston actually in terms of the way he looked to get between the midfield and strikeforce!
Power - Great ball for the goal, showed some good passes and vision, looks a bit slower and lazier than Byrne if that's who he's being compared to!
All in all, a good workout in my opinion, really missed Porter in midfield and Farrel up front though!

Disagree with one player
I thought Sam Smith had a great game.
Think the link this year will be the Tomlin , Robinson partnership.
O'Conner was excellent as was Huke
The scoreline did reflect the game however

We were outclassed in every department and it was abundantly clear that they've started pre-season well in advance of us. They were quicker to the ball, and to move it. They moved well off the ball and looked 2 divisions above us. It was a decent workout for our squad, with very little positive other than fitness levels being helped and a well taken goal by Az. I thought Osano was great at the back, especially once Stuart went off, and Johnson tried hard to get in the game once he made his debut. We wont face many sides as good as that this season and we should hopefully have our first 11 sorted and settled in by the time the season starts. We need to work on our speed of play (it needs to be quicker) and keeping possession (we gave the ball away far too cheaply).

Some of Peterborough's players showed why they got themselves into the Championship such as George Boyd who looked to good to be playing in the match at times, as did Quedrue as you would expect from a player who hs played in the Premier League for about 10 years.
Bearing in mind that Rushden were playing against a much higher qualty level of opposition, they did not look completely out of place, Jamie Day and Stuart looked really strong i think our best player was O'connor.
I hope that if JE signs any more players he signs players with experince as the vast majority of the squad seem to be under 25. Sombody who does not panic on the ball and knows the lower leagues well.
