we always used to have a great pre-season under Hill and then have an awful league campaign, so lets hope the opposite happens here!

I'm told Charles has been sent off and there is fights breaking out.

I seem to remember last year someone lunging in two footed at Kurt Robinson. Why do we keep playing them?

Everyone relax

It's a pre-season friendly against a team from a higher division than us.

Our first three league fixtures are against Fleetwood, Bath and Barrow. This is hardly comparable.

Having said that, injuries in pre-season friendlies DO effect league games.

According to the OS there was a "bad-looking" injury for Shane Huke.

Charles was only on the field 6 minutes before he got sent off.

JE missed the Southend game due to illness.
