It will be interesting to see how many travel for this game - our first Saturday away fixture of the season.

After the success last season, with some great away trips, we'll see what the effect is on the numbers that travel away .

I'm sure the message about booking early is really relevant for this one, so they can confirm numbers and commit to running a coach.

Some might moan about the price - but with the cost of petrol and train tickets they won't do it cheaper with fewer than four sharing a car.

The deadline for confirming this coach with Yorks is early on Wednesday morning.

We currently have 14 names, which is obviously not enough to run the coach. I will be taking bookings on the coach tonight (or you can ring Graham on the travel number) and we will make the decision around 10p.m. tonight.
I will update tomorrow with the decision.

We had 15 names which would have meant a loss of over £500 on the trip - no brainer I'm afraid!

This really is a shame, though totally understandable I hope those 15 fans find an alternative way of getting there :(

Yeh it is a shame although im not surprised as its not the most appealing away trip. Me +1 were booked on the coach but we will probably have to give it a miss now as it will be too costly for just two of us to go by car. I would use the coach more regulary but there is normally 4 of us that go and we like to go by car as we can make a day of it and get wedged in a pub nice and early :mrgreen: I really hope the coach is able to be used regulary as there are obviously fans which have no other means of transport.

Is it at all possible/ cost effective to use a smaller bus for games which are a long distance?
