I'm certainly a lot more positive after seeing what was on show at Twerton Park - and given it was the first time that front 3 had played together I could see quite a lot of promise. It looked like Farrell picked up a knock, but with O'Connor expected to be in contention for Saturday he may be a direct replacement.

Football forums at all clubs are known for their feast of negativity at times - I know what this one was like this time last season - but those of us who aren't quite so overreactive, or don't go seeking headline postings all of the time, will bide our time before assessing how well the new side is gelling.

Gowon then censor me. Jim and I (and a few others) have been around R & DFC internet messageboards for around 15 years I reckon, it's always been a place for debate and sometimes division. What it must not do is start to affect the reality of life and it's principals. For a start, cybersex is shite compared to the real thing (so I'm led to believe), and you cannot ban reasonable debate and opinion.
