I know its only the Sun so you have to take it with a pinch of bullshit-covered salt... but what are your views on this..

Personally I wouldn't mind too much as long as he does the job. He qualifies for us, regardless of where he was born, and he's a lot better than some of our midfielder's.

Views...

No bullocks for a change from the current Bun, he qualifies.

It is not right though. England players should only ever be picked from English born and bred stock, it just makes a mockery that you can live somewhere for 5 years in the European union and claim nationality - absolute crock of shite, reminds me of the Irish Football team under Charlton, when you would get picked if you could spell Eire correctly!

It's all wrong, and don't get me even started on the "English" cricket team......

So England will NO longer be England then? FFS, If he does play for England then I'll stop watching them like I have the cricketers.

A lot of countries have benefitted from this already. For example Croatia with Eduardo. I think it's wrong and Gerrard is a better attacking midfielder anyway!

Do you have a problem with Hargreaves playing for England then, after all hes Canadian and grew up in Canada until the age of 16 (when he moved to Munich)...

Yes I do and John Barnes. What is the point of international football teams when half the teams aren't even from the correct country.

I take it you still watch them now though... what changes just because it happens once more?

Why is it that EVERY time I make a post on here you feel it necessary to question/criticise them? Yes I do still watch them and would probably keep watching them, although why I'm justifying myself to you I have no bloody idea.
By your logic in 20 years I will probably be supporting England/Spain/Poland and whoever else MAY qualify, all in the same ****ing team.

He's barely questionning/criticising, he's making a valid point
