Hypothetically speaking.....

............where do you stand on the ground share idea with the scum? I see their ground issues haven't been sorted, its bound to raise its head again at sometime. Whilst I wouldn't like a ground share, I can see it being in both club's interests, trouble is would that bring us perilously close to a potential merger????
I'd say yes to a ground share if there were financial benefits, but a definate NO to merger - if that were to happen, the club would be dead to me, I'd feel totally betrayed !!!
Where do you stand on this issue???
Just bored and there appears to be little discussion going on !!

Yes to a groundshare, but their fans can only go in the Airwair. No way are they going anyway near our patch.
No to a merger. Both fans would be equally livid, and could see one big cock-up!

Yes to a groundshare, as long as it's financially good for our club, and pays it's way.
No to a merger, I see no benefit in it happening - it would be the end for kettrin, and wouldn't result in any more fans coming to NP. I'd probably still go if it did happen as it's my local football team.

You're made of sterner stuff than me ToD, I could never support a team associated with THEM, it just wouldn't be my team......but I guess you've been through it all before haven't you??
Fingers crossed it'd never come to that, but I wonder how many of our fans (and theirs) would feel the same?

I could accept them as our tennants assuming the deal was to our benefit, although I think they would have to be given the De Banke for their 'home' fans on H&S grounds, just like it is for us. Of course their fans wouldn't pay £17 to stand on the terrace, the regulars would just pay £15 to our trust and get in for £14! ;) However, I was of the understanding that they wouldn't be allowed to ground share with us due to the distance between the clubs. I thought Corby and Rothwell were their only possibilities?
A merger would be a definite no from me as well, but if that were to happen I can't see how the new club would survive without serious investment anyway. A merger would be the death of both existing clubs, followed soon after by the death of the new club.

IL has already said no to ground sharing with us. He said they wouldn't get any money through turnstiles or sponsorship money. All there money from advertising boards and ground name would end.

I suppose you could argue that they could being their sponsorships with them - there seems to be plenty of space around the perimeter of the pitch, and Nene Park doesn't have a name ....
