Tim Sills, three month loan from Stevenage, 31 year old striker who helped Torquay back into the Football League.

Good signing?

We have been after him for ages, I believe JE wanted him before he signed for SB.

Howe many strikers do we need???

Good signing in my opinion, always remember him being a handful when we played against stevenage.

Sills should be an excellent signing, he has been there and done it in the non league. He will also give us a different option up front as he is a good target man.

Im suprised last week JE said that Howe should be in contention for Sunday and smith has, made good progress and shouldn't be too far away.. Howeever with Farrell pulling his Hamstring against Histon i wonder if Smith or howe could have had a setback..

IMO a good signing and i think he should deliver he has a decent record at Conference level so good luck to him

Fantastic signing! Sill's always looked a big threat when he played against us, and was someone who was really nasty to play against, just what this team needs at the moment, especially considering who our next opponents are. Of course, we gave him lots of abuse because of it when he played against us, but I'll be ecstatic if he does the same thing in a Rushden shirt! :lol:

I'm suddenly feeling a whole lot more confident for Sunday now. A front three of Sills in the middle and O'Connor and Howe playing off him would terrify the very best defenders in this league!

(Assuming Howe is fit, of course.)

I'm not sure about that, but Benny definitely tried to sign him from Aldershot before he joined Torquay. Can't blame him for turning us down at that point! :lol:

JE said on the OS, that Howe hopefully would be training on Thursday, and be available for Sunday.
