The days of calling out a register are long gone. Now 4D face scans are being used to log pupils' movements. The technology is so advanced that it can distinguish between identical twins. About 200 sixth formers are having their faces scanned when they 'clock in and out' at Sir Christopher Hatton School, in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.
