For various reasons, I took my place in the North Stand yesterday rather than my normal perch on the PDB. Despite Roger having problems with his mike you could still make out what he was saying because the PA system is very clear in the North Stand whereas I have found that there are problems with those speakers on the PDB and very often you can hear very little clearly over the PA. In defence of the PDB fans, I'm sure that very few heard the main stadium announcement regarding the referee's two whistles to signfy the start and finish of the one minute silence.Diamondsforever wrote:Agreed, a total farce that made the Club look incredibly amateurish. I can't blame either set of fans who began cheering at the whistle thinking that it was over given that we'd been stood in silence, listening to silence for a good minute or two already.
Even the Yeovil fans started making noise after he finished speaking..Trek wrote:Diamondsforever wrote:In defence of the PDB fans, I'm sure that very few heard the main stadium announcement regarding the referee's two whistles to signfy the start and finish of the one minute silence.
We could hear something very faintly on the PDB but not enough to understand what was being said until they sorted the PA system out half way through.Trek wrote:For various reasons, I took my place in the North Stand yesterday rather than my normal perch on the PDB.
