Tut, I wish you'd just tell us what you think and stop beating around the bush ;)

The whole day doesn't seem so bad after a vodka or 20 lol

what's the point of having a linesman, if you're not going to believe him, when he flags offside?

It would be very interesting to hear the lino's view on it. I'm pretty sure he'd be professional in the media and say that the final say is with the ref....but I'd like to hear what he has to say behind closed doors.

Proof if it were needed (which it isn't) that Mark Brown is either (a) a cheat or (b) an inept **** who isn't fit to do the job he is paid to do.

Taken from the official 'Laws of the Game' document on FIFA's own website. I might e-mail it to Matt Smith. Note the wording: "He MUST be penalised..."

Top stuff Dave - you could almost draw the Nene Park scoreboard into the corner of FIFA's picture and it would be a perfect snapshot of what happened. It's a shame that ITV's Video service is so poor, otherwise I'd capture the frame from the low angle replay which matches that picture.

In reality does anybody know what the club can do to complain about this crazy decision and what the chances are to at least have the ref punished?

I know that the result cannot be overturned but this ref should not be allowed to make any other team suffer the same consequences and loss of important potential revenue.

The Club will have to fill in a form rating the referees performance this coupled with the video evidence and statements from players and the linesman etc may mean that he is less likely to be picked to referee 'bigger' matches or demoted down to refing BSN or BSS matches. ultimately nothing is going to happen to him that will affect the result or the club in anyway so we should all look forward to the kiddie match and hopefully getting some better decisions while we are there
