As always you're welcome in the club bar (Green Man) where we have real ale and hot home-made cottage pie available. Several TV screens, odd locals , we've got the lot

Any other info you need, just ask

Safe trip all

A visit to the (New) Lawn is always one of the best away trips of the season - it's a shame it wasn't a couple of weeks earlier when the Autumn colours in Gloucestershire would have been at their best.

I just hope we don't show how grateful we are for the hospitality by leaving the three points behind, as we have done for the past two seasons.

Thanks for the info. Are there any pubs within walking distance of the ground? We will definitely pop into the green man before kick off though.

Depends how fit you are. It's a long way up a steep hill from town to the ground (I reckon 20-25 mins walk).

The Village is in the town centre (on the A46, just uphill (south) of the church, chip shop two doors down). This has its own brewery on site and is very popular.

If you come out of the Village and look across the A46, there's a side road (Market St) opposite running down off the main road . Walk to the end of this (200 yds) and look left, you'll see the Britannia. These are the main town centre pubs (and nearest to the ground)

Village doesn't do food but usually don't mind you buying chips and eating in the pub. Britannia does food and pizza is speciality

Very helpful info, pity more clubs can't offer such an information. I cant quite imagine the scum up the road offering such hospitality! :)
We will be there on Saturday and surely it must be third time lucky, although we are going to have half the team missing. I spoke to Robbo after Saturdays game at NP and said in the light of Days sending off " you better get your boots polished". His reply " i am not sure i know where they are!"
