DISGRACEFUL

Those so called "professional footballers" we employ do not deserve a single penny of payment this week. They were an awful fcuking shambles of a team that got booed off the park as it rightfully should. Our players did NOTHING as a football team to try and win the game, they strolled around like a bunch of overpaid primadonnas and almost contrived to lose against a p!ss poor team that had nothing but effort.
Shocking, awful, pitiful.
And what's the goddamn point of putting the floodlights on at half-time whilst it's nowhere near dark ?

The flood lights were a waste, the revenue from the game wouldn't of been high so theres no point spending money on the lights when they made on impact at all on the pitch.

Probably my worst Diamonds game since Hill.

We haven't won in 6 weeks. We have gone backwards. Today was a joke - £5 or non fiver, I wouldnt have accepted money to go and watch that dribble!

I'd: Get rid of Farrel, Charles & Spence, all awful.

Get rid of Nicholls - since he's come we haven't won, co-incidence?

Hire an experienced assistant manager.

Go and sign a centre back, a centre mid, and a striker.

Tell the players to play like they care. I certainly will not be watching Eastbourne next week. I'd rather save £12 for all the Christmas games.

Pretty obvious Dale is going to go, Joe Day is nowhere near as good as him yet we still play Day. Judging on today, maybe the players have been told in January they will be sold, it just reminded me of Garry Hill today :( Gutted this afternoon...

It was shockingly bad this afternoon. As usual we let a team from way below us in League terms to dictate the play and pace of the game. Day made a couple of decent saves but that's the only positive thing I have to say about it. Frankly I want my money back, £14 wasted this afternoon. We didn't want to win it, that was obvious from the first 5 minutes, some of our players stood around for so long on the pitch they must be as cold as we were in the stands. Awful and unnacceptable.

I won't be making the effort to go the replay, won't be watching the games next weekend or either of the Luton games...I never thought I'd say it but my love for this club is fading fast and someone, somewhere needs to do something to convince me that I should be there. :(

Was speaking to someone before the game who talks to roberts every now and then, aperently he is going up north to be with his family so I reacon he is going to Forest since he has played there before. I said before if he doesn't play before christmas he is gone and he hasn't so its clear.

Forest?! He's good but not that good! Agree about Dale in general, it is clear he should be starting, i think the defence look way better with him behind them.

Stace, if you're saying something like that then it's clear something's very wrong. I have faith that Justin will sort this rubbish out and expect a better result next weekend.

On another matter, i overheard today that Luton fans are being put in the North Stand WITH home fans on boxing day.

Seems like I made the right decision to stay home in the warm and wrap up some Christmas presents.

I've tried not to be too critical over the last few games, and have focused on the few positives, but there is no excuse for the totally unacceptable performance today.

I can understand the players being a little rusty early on in the game (although I'm sure Eastwood were in the same boat as us) but the lack of interest and effort in the second half was inexcusable. I thought the first 45 were quite even overall, but they were the better side in the second, winning all the 50-50s and second balls, keeping possession better than us, and just generally looking like they wanted it more.

Positionally, the back four were all over the place, not helped by the midfield who were hopeless in every single aspect. Howe played well in the first half, but for most of the second half he stood in the same spot on the left wing and didn't move from there at all. Faz has now become one of the most ineffective players I've ever seen at the club, last season he would cause problems with his work ethic alone, but even that has disappeared now. O'Connor was the only player who really put any effort in during the second half (until Smith came on), but due to the ineptitude of the rest of the team he hardly got a touch of the ball.

I didn't think we needed to do much in the January transfer window, but I'm now looking at 4 or 5 positions where we are simply not good enough at the moment, and need to improve.
