The little bald lad, worth a punt?
Looked like a good player to me!

Can anyone tell me what contribution Matt Johnson gives to our team?
He is never in the box when we attack and he is never in the box when we defend, seems to just loiter around the center circle doing nothing!

His name's Meikle - he's their top scorer this season I believe and on yesterday's showing you can see why!!

I thought their best player was the left-back (maybe Shaw), who covered really well across the back four and loked comfortable on the ball. Would'nt be worth our while have two decent players already in that position!

The thing is that this was a cup tie. Some of their players may have impressed, but what are they like week in, week out? Whilst it is typical for players to raise their game in a cup tie, one look of the table says that if they performed like that week in week out, they wouldn't be 16th in Conference North.

But one player doesn't make a team? That Lindon Meikle looked very very good, wish I could make tuesday to have anbother look at him. One of their fullbacks was decent aswel and kept up with Smith and Charles for pace (who were both fresher than he was) so thats saying something.
