I would like to offer my deepest condolences to everyone at Rushden & Diamonds after this devastating news. Dale Roberts was a fantastic keeper (unfortunately for us at times!) and by reading your messages, he was a fantastic guy who had time to speak to fans and respected them, many players in this day and age do not have those qualities.
It is not nice imagining what Dale's family and friends are going through but I hope that they can take consolation that he has made such an impact on everybody at your club.
I will be laying flowers and a scarf in the next few days at Nene Park, and I sincerely hope you win promotion for Dale now.
