O'Connor has been confirmed as the new captain, with Corky vice captain.

I don't usually like a striker as captain, but there's no doubt that Azzer is one of the most passionate players in the team now that Stuart has left, so you can't really argue with the decision. Even though he had been in disappointing form this season, we don't have another player in the squad who has the same leadership qualities as Stu. We'll certainly miss that side of his game.

There are only 2 or 3 players that are guaranteed to play every week if fit. O'Connor is one of them. The obvious choice IMO.

Corcs is the only other player who could have taken the captaincy IMO. Striker is not usualy my preferred choice, but he's definatly the right man for the job!

I reckon he'll relish the role of being the leader, and it may inspire his performances to increase as a result.

Fantastic choice. Azza has taken on captain duties in the past and performed well. I believe he will relish taking on the role full time.

I like O'connor but like the others I prefer a player further back as captain. My choice would have been Curtis.

If he stays i think oliver thorne would be a good choice
