I'd like to say thanks to Helen for her hard work over the years for the club and the support she has given to me personally in my job role from time to time - time to put your feet up and "enjoy" the football H !!

I'll echo that, she's been a constant in an ever changing club. She gave me an interview for Leeds Student a few years ago which I will always be grateful for.

It's the end of an era - and in Helen's case that era stretches back to the 1960's when she made the tea at Rushden Town - although it's excellent news that she'll still have some involvement via the Trust and the VP role.
Helen has been putting so much time and effort into the club for so many years, and many of the volunteers at the club (myself included) were encouraged to get involved by Helen, and she was always the first to give people praise for those efforts.
I think the Supporters Trust might get a long overdue increase in its profile now.
All Diamonds fans owe her a lot - I hope there will be a good tribute in the next programme - I'm sure a lot of those who've come and gone at Nene Park would be happy to contribute to a fitting tribute.

Well done Helen and thanks for all of the sterling work that you have done over the years, by the way you are far to young to retire I hope that everything is well with you. P.S. I hate the phrase "with immediate effect" don't you?
Cheers and have a well deserved rest girl.

Best wishes for a happy retirement. Thanks for all you have done for the club over the years. Without you we would probably not have had a club at all as you steered us through our darkest days when liquidation was all too close.
