Without meaning to sound disrespectful, i don't think any fan inside the ground will know who he was.

Very disappointed with some at the back of the de banke who just thought it was funny to act the fool during the silence ok so we didnt all know who he was but a minutes silence should be just that

In all fairness it was barely audible and it was turned off after about 10-20 seconds.

That is really bad. :(
I had never heard of him before, as I presume most at the ground hadn't, but regardless of that, respect is still due when there is a minutes silence.
