For a freebie, may well be worth the gamble

You watch.. someone else in the conference will take him on board within the next week, and he'll start scoring for fun!

There would be no transfer, free or otherwise, since his contract has been cancelled by Stevenage. However, the bloke was very poor for us during his loan period so I would not like to see him return to play for us. There must be far better strikers out there who are searching for a new club at this moment.

Checking Sills record in 2010 he scored just one goal in 29 appearances for Stevenage and Diamonds.

Would he not be a good squad player? Someone to come off the bench or as cover for injuries/suspensions etc?

Did you actually see him play? ;) :)

I think I'd rather bring Sharif back and stick him up front ahead of Sills, he really provided us with very little over the few games he played. Complete opposite of what I was expecting from him. Like Trek says there is far better out there I'm sure.

Looks like he's already gone to Aldershot. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 364412.stm
