I didnt go to the forum tonight but only read on here from dave what happened before! But Regredless of whether people do or dont turn up to meetings, why is it becoming such a problem at the club to get this sorted. Its not hard to ring up the 10 schools in the local area and say 'heres 20 tickets each, distribute how you like, through school comps or whatever, bobs your uncle, fanny's your aunt!' Simple.
Dont tell me that is costs more to do this because it does, the cost of printing 100 or so tickets - minimal! Stewarding costs dont increase, we dont need any exta for 100 kids.

GC said we are approaching approximately 80 local schools and colleges, and are pushing through the 50-50 scheme, whereby a parent buys a full price ticket, with 50% of the value going to the club, and 50% to the school. Kids get in free.

Firstly, "school's" doesn't need an apostrophe, it's a simple plural so it's "schools" ;) ;)

Secondly, the whole thing is a no-brainer and I've never understood the Club's reluctance to do it. The ONLY reason that I came to NP in the first place was because Matt was given a free ticket when he was 5. We've been regulars, season ticket holders, trust members, volunteers ever since; he's 14 now. A pretty good return on however much I paid for my ticket all those years ago I say

It's not directly related. But (similarly to DF) I started going aged 7 because one of my family members was offered free tickets by their employer as an incentive for raking in the green ( ;) ).

Don't just limit it to schools, invite local businesses along.

The boxes dont get used, its such a shame, offer businesses free seats if they book a box or something like that!
