My view on today...

A lot of strange stuff being written on here.
One thing that has got to be said - Osano aside (I'll move on to him later) the buck stops with Edinburgh today. It was painfully clear what was going to happen in the second half as of roughly the 46th minute, and he just didn't react. Tamworth just put 11 men behind the ball, and punted it clear at every opportunity, and we struggled desperately to break them down. I understand he had an argument with some fans at the end, i didn't see it myself, but he surely can't defend the indefensible.
The simple fact is we should be winning games like that. Especially in the circumstances.
The players actually played OK. 2/3 aside I couldn't fault them for effort, we just haven't got a cutting edge.
Osano was appalling, not only was he bad, but he was also disinterested. The only game recently that I have missed was against Newport (where he infact gave away a penalty), and he has been hopeless for months. Why he keeps getting played is beyond me. It is clear from other posts on this board that others feel exactly the same, but why can't Justin see it? Charles has had a few poor games now also and i think it's time he sat a few out.
The error for the goal was stupid to say the least and ultimately cost us. There was no real danger until Day opted to punch (badly) a long throw, which fell straight to the Tamworth player who passed it into an empty net. Yes he's young, and yes he'll be a good keeper, but he shouldn't be playing.
To try and end on a positive, i thought Gash did extremely well, and Oshodi was great when he came on, although to be perfectly honest he wasn't really tested.
Cambridge are in appalling form, and lost 4-0 to Bath today. We have a great opportunity on Tuesday to get a bloody win.
