Tamworth Ratings

Day – 6 – Now Im one of Days biggest critics, but I actually thought he had a good game until he completely fucked up for the goal. Totally his fault which was a shame after some good kicking.

Osano – 3 – Worst player of the day and probably the season, completely uninterested in defending, caught out too many times and plenty of poor decisions and passes

Corky – 5 – His decision making is so so poor! Not strong enough to be CB and his attacking play is better than his defending which says a lot

Jamie Day – 7 – MOTM, defensively (which is usually his weak spot) he was on the money most of the game, attacking he was creative, strong and with more service could of got more crosses in.

Prosser – 5 – In the game is in the area I watch Prosser and I reckon about 200 different options go through his head and just ends up with messy ending, You can’t trust him on his own with is a big problem.

Porter – 7 – Another strong, demanding performance from him, most reliable player of the season so far!

Mills – 7 - Controlled the midfield brilliantly, but some of the shooting was on the poor side and he needs to shut his trap sometimes

O’connor - 6 – One of the better players on the pitch today but the service he receives (ball in the air) obviously aren’t going to work with him, he needs to be playing off Gash/Charles .

Gash – 5 – Send him back! He doesn’t win headers, not because he got beat to them, but because he doesn’t even bother to jump, utterly useless.

Charles – 6 – Disappointing performance, he can see the signs are there but they never work out, with the ball at his feet he’s poor and that’s the most disappointing because he has pace and potential

Power – 6 – Great goal and great work rate, but that’s about it. He does cause problems but I’m not sure that the skill is there.

Oshodi – 6 – Encouraging performance from him, great head on him and didn’t put a foot wrong

Smith – 6 – On the pitch for 20 minutes or so, didn’t really have much of an impact apart from the chance.

Day - 4 - The goal was his fault, basically had nothing else to do all game apart from a couple of kicks.

Osano - 2 - He really was that bad.

Corcoran - 6 - Probably the most natural leader we have.

Prosser - 6 - He's unconvincing but OK, certainly an improvement on previous performances until he was taken off.

Day - 7 - Got forward a lot, and got in great positions, i just wonder about his final ball.

Mills - 7 - Misplaced a few passes but broke the play up and looked to spread the ball about.

Porter - 6 - Wasn't really involved in the game.

Power - 8 - Out best player at the moment. Sublime goal and looked more likely to make something happen than anyone else.

Charles - 5 - Just not doing it for me at the moment. End product is a big problem.

O'Connor - 7 - Non-stop running, but should have scored on 2/3 occasions.

Gash - 8 - His best game for us. Competed excellently against Tamworth's big fat central defenders.

Subs:

Oshodi - 7 - He'll be a good player for us, you can tell from just 45 minutes that he knows what he's doing.

Smith - 6 - Should have scored but didn't get into those kind of areas often enough.

Johnson - Not on long enough.

I'd like to know what you've been smoking. The problem is that he's winning a fair bit in the air but we're not taking advantage of it enough.

Osano seems to be getting worse each season. Time to leave in the summer me thinks!

Day - 6, did ok until the fcuk up
Osano - 3 - poor, poor show
Corcoran - 6, average
Prosser - 7, looks a "proper" centre-half
Day - 7, one of his better games of late
Mills - 9, experience showed the way, all over the park, my MOM
Porter - 5, not turning it on enough
Power - 7, tries hard
Charles - 5, not in the game enough
O'Connor - 7, led by example
Gash - 6, tries but always got his back to goal, he's not a natural goalscorer and not our answer
Subs:
Oshodi - 8, composed and really bright prospect
Smith - 5, put in the wrong place IMO

I think Sam Smith should of gone on in Gash' position even though charles needed to come off
