On a lighter note..

A lot of negative comments were flying around yesturday with regards to our performance at the game, but it isn't all that bad.
I'm going to start with Joe Day, yes he was at fault for the goal we conceded but he does seem to have improved with his kicks. I don't believe any went out of the stadium and they all had good height on them. He will get there and with more games he can only get better.
The overall performance of the team was actually not that bad and compared to recent games I enjoyed watching it as we had good possession and on the whole the game flowed well.
In the league things aren't that bad for us, fortunatly over teams above us such as newport are also not doing well at the moment so if we beat Cambridge both times ( I know it is a big IF), things will be looking good. Other than York who are one place above us and one point ahead the following teams have all played 2 or 3 more games than us and if we got points from each of the games to make us equal we would be very close to play offs:
Bath City 2 games ahead 1 point ahead 2 places ahead.
Mansfield 2 games ahead 4 points ahead and 3 places ahead.
Newport County 2 games ahead 6 points ahead and 5 places ahead.
Kidderminster 3 games ahead 7 points ahead and 6 places ahead.
What I'm saying is that the league is still close from 13th-6th and that potentially we could still finish in a competitive position. At the end of the day at least we have stopped losing games and conceding a lot less goals. If we win the next two games any thing can happen.
