On paper it is definitely on. At the moment ourselves (9th in the table), Newport (8th) and Grimsby (7th) have played 29 matches and we are all on 43 points. Kidderminster (6th) are on 47 points but have played two more matches, Fleetwood (5th) are on 48 points and have played two more. Fifth place is really there for the taking for anyone really. Mansfield (10th) and York (11th) both have very good chances of getting there aswell.

I look back in frustration at games such as Tamworth and Bath where points were lost. I genuinely believe we have a good chance of making the play-offs. Fingers crossed

Very similar to the Darby division on plods!

I hate the talk of promotion. I wish we were a mid table team. :(

If we can keep these results coming an off course win our game in hand, there is a chance were be up in the fix of it very soon, the next 4 or 5 games are very winable and as we know anything can happen in football

I think its easy to get carried away, we're playing some pretty dross team's at the moment and doing a thoroughly professional job on them, I can see us having a 100% record in February and JE getting the manager of the month again, we all know what happened last time that happened. ;)

However, at the end of March we play Wrexham, AFC Dons, Luton and Grimsby - THAT will be the acid test. The points we're gaining now, and the performances we're putting in are massive confidence boosters and will stand the lads in good stead for those challenges. WE'll be in contention for the play-offs for sure, but only after those 4 games will we know if we're true contenders, or just falling short.

Happy days though eh? Its good to go to a game with some confidence at last

I dont think we should underestimate Gateshead and Bath.

Gateshead looked very good against a poor Eastbourne last week and should have scored many more goals, plus they do have revenge factor in mind against us,(8-0!!)

Bath have picked up some very good results lately. Lets hope saturday v Histon was the start of a dip in form.

Talking about Bath, I think if you can keep Kaid Mohammed and Scott Murray quiet I think you can shackle them quite easily.

If we get the tactics right then I think that game is definately winnable.

Sorry correction. I was thinking Bath lost to Histon, whereas it was a very fired up inform Kiddy.
