...thought he was terrific last night YET again. This boy is going to go places.
Heard on the grapevine that 17, yes 17 clubs, including PREMIERSHIP teams are scouting him at the moment!
Also heard that Posh rejected a £1.75mill bid for Tomlin from West Brom in January. :o

I thought (if you listen to rumours, and this is football so who doesn't

) that Joe was on his way to Posh in the summer, done deal and all that..........no idea if true, but Barry Fry was there last night (again) and he would have been impressed with what he saw eh?
What other rumours have you heard? Blackpool in for Tommo I heard, but no mention of the fee. Any others? I'm bored (and putting off going out and tidying my garage

It's early days for Joe, but he's going to be a very good keeper and if he is getting attention from Premier League scouts, it just shows how far he's come.

I could honestly see Tomlin being sold by Peterborough for around £5 - 6 million. Sounds crazy, but Fry will milk whoever comes in for him for all they're worth and I believe if he continues to progress, he will light up the Championship if they are playing there next year.
The biggest problem will be trying to get our share over as short a period as possible because you can bet that Fry would try to spread payments over the next 100 years if he could.

Is there anyway in the future we could give our next Tomlin to Peterborough on a season long loan?....in this season alone he's doubled in value....think of the money we could have been asking for him if we'd kept him!....I know being the small club we get pushed around and have our best taken from us, and really bigger clubs wont take notice, until they've proved themselves in a higher league but they can still do that on loan and you never know spread your own rumours and the footballing world might take notice

Newcastle bid £5million + Leon Best for Max Gradel in Jan. Tommo's good, but he's nowhere near Max's level yet.

Fry tried to buy out the sell-on clause in January. For £20k.
