I have been told that he wants to be transfer listed at the end of the season.

I thought he was out of contract anyway? If so, that makes no sense.

I don't know it is only what I have heard from a mate of mine that plays for the Junior team.

Luton/Crawley have probably offered him something then, or a crap league 2 team. Good player, no loyalty in football if it's true but why should there be.

In the very, very uncertain world that is Rushden and Diamonds, you can't blame a quality lower league player from wanting some stability (including being paid regularly) and oh and maybe even some success on the field.
Let's face it how many of our current players will be here next season..?
In fact will we have have the same manager or even owners..?
Players careers are very short and they have to make the most of them as for many there is not much in store for them in later life.

Not surprising as know doubt he wants to play in the Football League and as we have no real chance of promotion this season and it would with the best hopes possible be at least 2 more seasons before our club could get him there so he is setting his stall out now and good luck to him.

I say who can blame him? The lad quite clearly has talent hence his England caps, he would surely want to progress and make a career as high as possible.
