Pressman (Chris Barritt) who was in the Wimbledon pressbox on Saturday has dismissed this rumour as absolute rubbish on the Ploppies forum.

Absolutely! There was tittle tattle in the press box that the points deduction looked certain but as to the K*ttering merger rumour I can't think of anybody that spread such a rumour. We all have opinions on a potential merger but they are only opinions and I certainly didnt speak to Laurence.
This is not only old hat but most likely a case of someone adding 2 + 2 to make 15!!

It'd be the death of both clubs !! No way would I follow a club merged with THEM of all people !! This rumour floats around every now and again, but I truthfully would stop coming if this were to happen ........football would be dead to me !!

They are on a downward spiral as well, with a Chairman trying to sell! Come to Kempston they are the side on the up locally, this year UCL Div One (champions, hopefully!) next year who knows ;)

Rumours are that they might go part-time again next season. Players still being shifted off the wage bill
