The unofficial AFC Rushden & Diamonds messageboard

I failed to catch it myself, but apparently a commentator on radio Northampton today said that the players had failed to be paid again, and that a lot of (bad) things were going on at the club, which he knew about but couldn't talk about on air. He also said that he'd tried for a long time to get hold of the chairman and when he eventually did, he was told that there would be a statement next week.

Anyone else hear this? Whats going on? Doesn't sound good.

Rumours have it, we'll be playing at Hayden Road next season.

Hope ya wrong this time fella !!

I think theres alot more to this than whats meets the eye..

If we lose 10 points, plus the further 5, we'll be in the relegation zone 2 points behind safety with 2 games in hand as it stands.

I love a good old relegation battle.

I have heard this too, that we will go into administration once we are safe in the league.

We've had numerous admin rumours in the last several years and so far they've all come to nothing but the fact this time it comes from a reputable source rather than some randomer on the internet worries me, I don't like to be negative but there have been many times in the last few years when I've feared for the club and this could be it :(

Lets just hope the new owners know what they're doing and that all the optimism that came out of the last fans forum wasn't all b*llocks.
