Histon Ratings

Post by Rushdenjim »

Joe Day - 7 - Not really tested but first clean sheet since 22nd Feb so well done Joe!

Jamie Day - 7 - Soild at the back, done the job.

Corky - 6 - Caught out just a few times. and is far to happy to just hoof the ball anyway but near him!

Huke - 7 - Hoof happy aswell, but good header for the second

Miller - 7 - Also Soild, great asset with the long throws which resulted in the second goal

Porter - 7 - gave 100% as always, breaking up the Histon attack well

Mills - 6 - Didnt even relised he was on the pitch, pretty ineffective last night

Power - 7 - Some great runs, one of the better players of the night

Johnson - 6 - The only Player that failed to get the better for his opp number all game. Actually looked slightly out of his dept last night, just lost the ball or fouled his man.

O'connor - 8 - Great to see him back, gave 110% all night, ran his socks off, won and then converted the Pen

Faz - 5 - Awful, as normal. No use to the team whatsoever.

Another point is that interesting to see that when both goals were scored the team came over to the fans and were high fiving them!

Also the Histon performance was one of the worst Ive seen in a long long time for any team!

Joe Day- 7 Didn't have much to do at all.
Miller- 7 Got forward well to support the attacks and took a lot of long throws last night!
Corcoran- 6
Huke- 7 Good header for hs goal.
Jamie Day- 7 Didn't have much to do defensively, looked steady going forward.
Porter- 8 Thought he had a really good game, broke up the play well.
Mills- 6 Seemed to chase the ball higher up the pitch than usual and was caught out of his usual position of just in front of the back 4 a number of times.
Power- 7
Farrell- 6 Less said the better although he did hit the crossbar in the first half.
O'Connor- 8 Led the line well and created a lot of chances for himself despite having to play in a front three that contained Farrell and Johnson!
Johnson- 5 Looked very poor against a poor Histon side. Always loses the ball or fouls the opponent.

I also thought that Woolley looked promising when he came on and made a crunching tackle on Histon's full back!

i'd agree with that ^^^
that tackle was rather robust, to say the least.

thought he was brilliant tuesday night some great runs from the midfield into the box and good link up play

Mills- 6 Seemed to chase the ball higher up the pitch than usual and was caught out of his usual position of just in front of the back 4 a number of times.
wasn't really the right type of game for mills. Histon bypassed the middle of the pitch a lot and most of the play was in and around their half so he had little effect on the teams overall performance

Farrell- 6 Less said the better although he did hit the crossbar in the first half.
time to move on at the end of the season, looks past it now and just can't keep up with the pace of the game. it's a shame as last season he showed what he was capable of

I think Millsy has been giving him a few lessons in training ;)
Woolley and Shariff looked good coming on last night although against a poor Histon side they linked up well
R.I.P Dale Roberts, Never Forgotten.
