I know this question has been asked to death many times before but I was wondering if peoples opinions had changed due to the concerns surrounding the future of Nene Park recently.
Hypothetically if a merger with our rivals along the A6 was the only way of ensuing conference football to be played at Nene Park next season in the BSP would you be in favour of a merger?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO If they ever did it wouldn't matter what league they were in I wouldn't be there to see it.

I would rather watch some sort of football at a half decent level instead of having nothing else better to do on a Saturday afternoon, so I voted yes. Would have to be if the club had NO other option.

It would be like merging two deadly rivals like say Irthlingborough Diamonds with Rushden Town, oh! hang on. :o

no. no. no. i'd rather us die and get a cobblers season ticket, than merge two bitter rivals.

No way. I'd go elsewhere or even another sport than rather support a merger! :evil:

A merger would be the death of both clubs unless very significant funding were provided which would see the new club immediately competing for a return to the Football League.

I wasn't a supporter of either but from speaking to people who were, I believe that the Rushden Town/Irthlingborough Diamonds rivalry was nothing like the R&D/K*ttering rivalry.

Believe me it was.
