One of the excellent ideas I've received is that we should start preparing a Poster and flyer(s) to advertise our plight.
The suggestion was that this should feature the full club name - Rushden & Diamonds FC - the ampersand is part of our branding, and should include images from our first team and youth team, with optional items like the badge or Nene Park views.
The exact wording of what goes on the posters / flyers needs discussion amongst all of us - both on here and at the forum on Tuesday, but some preparatory work can be done beforehand - and perhaps a sample brought along on Tuesday.
We have a bit of an issue with the Official Website right now - we haven't been able to do any updates since late Friday - but assuming that gets fixed we need to decide whether the posters reference that site, or a site like the one I created quickly on Friday. Hopefully the domain name I've registered will be available to use on that site by tomorrow - www.rdfcsupporters.co.uk - and I already have the email address rdfcsupporters@hotmail.co.uk regsitered if we decide to use that as a more permanent site.
DiamondJim offered to create a logo or two for the Diamonds Supporters Group which I hope will be ready to adopt if it becomes clear the Trust don't think it's appropriate to use their resources in this campaign.
The posters / flyers should provide a mechanism for a business or individual to contact us to offer support.
