Listening to the radio today and they mentioned they were having a golf day to raise money for a certain charity.Don't play the game myself but if their are any members of a local course could they be approached about organising one ,if its succesfull could hold it annually and maybe ask the manager players or ex to take part.sorry if someone has already posted this

The club had a golf day a number of years ago. I have the booklet/menu at home signed by a few players. I'm sure Phil Neal and Ian Rush played in it - Defo some Liverpool players, if it wasn't them.

Golf Days are good fundraisers but in all honesty with timescale and the actual profit made after forking out on a Golf Day you are probably wasting your time.

the charity football matches are good ideas, would you be interested in playing a Poppies fans side or is this a bad idea? :D

Really depends on who would be in the poppies fans side, if its idiots that just want to take pot shots, or call us "scum" all through the match, then no.

If its poppies fan's who just want a game, and can take part in some friendly banter then, yes

It should probably end up in a riot especially if Sturman was playing  I think Dazza is their manager, i wonder if he is as much of a gobshite in person as he is over a computer?
