If this remains the case, which with it coming from the club I have no reason to doubt it won't be, it feels to me that we've actually signed a player....Lee Tomlin.

We went through the whole of December and January thinking Tomlin was going and it just depended on where he was going and for how much for. But to know he is staying til the end of the season at least (?) i think this is just like signing a quality player again!

I think you are on your own on that one, in a similar way to your opinions on Tommo. ;) ;)

I certainly would have taken an offer of the "status quo" at any point during January - and even more so after Saturday.

Im obviously delighted we have kept Tommo, but in the back of my mind is the fact his value is probably going to decrease every day from now until the summer, when he will only have a year left.

As for Osano, well he will no go on a free in the summer, i'd be amazed if he signed a new deal.
