We are going up, sing we are going up (8)

a bit premature and optimistic, but I'm delighted!

If this remains the case, which with it coming from the club I have no reason to doubt it won't be, it feels to me that we've actually signed a player....Lee Tomlin.

We went through the whole of December and January thinking Tomlin was going and it just depended on where he was going and for how much for. But to know he is staying til the end of the season at least (?) i think this is just like signing a quality player again! :D

To be fair, he could still move on loan as of Feb 8th until March 31st.

Yeah true. Be interesting to hear what Justin has to say now the window is closed and see if anyone came in for any of our players. Surely he is allowed to say now its closed?

I would be extremely disappointed if he was allowed to go out on loan, either stump up £250 k plus a sell on clause or f*** off

am i the only one a little bit disappointed we didnt bring in an extra player??
delighted we haven't lost any, but think we needed an extra body to really push us into the play-off picture.

I think you are on your own on that one, in a similar way to your opinions on Tommo. ;) ;)

I certainly would have taken an offer of the "status quo" at any point during January - and even more so after Saturday.

Im obviously delighted we have kept Tommo, but in the back of my mind is the fact his value is probably going to decrease every day from now until the summer, when he will only have a year left.

As for Osano, well he will no go on a free in the summer, i'd be amazed if he signed a new deal.

YAAAAAAAAFECKINNHOOOOOO !!!
Now that's a real result for us as we can attempt to push on with a settled squad. Let's get the hell down to Grays and get behind the lads.
